Camera/Alarm/Access Control Installation Service Acceptance
Tier4 Technologies, applicable vendor, and installation subcontractor makes a best effort to identify all details needed to provide a quote; however, there are times where sales may not identify specific technical limitations and/or complications that would impact the project. Tier4 Technologies may need to alter the initial quote based on findings during the Operations Engineering Site walk to review the sales scope of work.
The sales and operations personnel will reach out to discuss the changes needed, the details why and the pricing adjustments.
Assumptions

Client understands that Tier4 Technologies subcontracts all system integration, installation, and certification services for the installation of hardware and software solutions. Integrator and installation subcontractors chosen by Tier4 Technologies are accepted thru the signing of an order to purchase equipment that includes such services.

All statements of Tier4 Technologies throughout these articles of acceptance are inclusive of the subcontractor selected and utilized by Tier4 for installation and integration services.

Tier4 is not responsible for any wall repair where the new camera footprint is smaller than the original camera if applicable.

Tier4 will seal exterior walls during camera installation.

Tier4 assumes all network cabling that exists, is in good working condition and can be plugged into Verkada cameras.

Areas of Installation will be clear of obstacles for Installers to run wire and install devices. If areas are not clear of obstacles client will be billed at $285 per hour.

Delays caused by the client or any third party other than Tier4 Technologies provided personnel, equipment, information or material, will be charged at the appropriate extra work or standby rates of $285 per hour.

Work performed during business hours, M-F, 8-5 excluding Holidays.

It is the customer’s responsibility to conduct a thorough check and ensure that all of the security measures are in place for their facilities, building and doors are secured at the end of each workday behind the Tier4 Installation Team.

Client to provide lift. If a lift is not provided one will be provided by Tier4 Technologies and billed at cost plus 15%. Lift must be in good working condition and fully charged up job start.

Tier4 Technologies proposal is based upon executing work in one contiguous trip, delays preventing project execution that result in additional trips will result in time and materials billing of $285 per hour and any applicable travel expenses.

Tier4 Technologies proposal include conduit for vertical cabling runs complete on exposed wall surfaces. Horizontal cabling will be run along open trusses leveraging current cabling hardware standards without conduit. Deviations from Tier4 Technologies cabling standards may require a Commercial Adjustment to the proposal.

Tier4 is not responsible for painting or matching the color of Wire Mold/Conduit to customer’s desired color.

Tier4 Technologies proposal includes network ethernet cabling leveraging current industry standard cabling standards. Customer requests for cabling certifications will result in time and materials billing of $185 per hour and any applicable travel expenses.

Network will be in place with Ports labeled for Tier4 Technologies to plug in Security Equipment, and/or additional POE Switches. Requests to build and/or troubleshoot networks, VLANs, DHCP services, ACLs are outside the scope of installation and will be provided by Tier4 Technologies at a rate of $185 per hour.

Customer will have camera wires labeled with camera number along with locations of IDF (intermediate distribution frame) and or MDF's (main distribution frame) where wires terminate. If not provided by customer, this will be billed at $185 per hour to trace wire.

Existing door hardware is in good working condition. If existing hardware is determined to not function. A change order will be submitted to the client for approval.

Any IP conflict or port forwarding will require support from clients IT Department.

Tier4 Technologies does not rekey any doors or hardware.110V outlet must be provided within 3 feet of the Access Door Controller’s location.

Tier4 Technologies will require an authorized elevator technician be available for any requests including access control for an elevator.

Tier4 will pass along any cost plus 15% of any required State, County, City, or any applicable municipalities permits that are required to complete the customers project.
Technical Assumptions

POE (Power Over Ethernet) switching is powering all cameras and will be able to support the new Verkada Cameras

NTP Protocol and Port 443 is able to be outbound through the network to access the internet.

Tier4 assumes that there are enough POE ports available on networking infrastructure.

Tier4 assumes that wireless coverage is sufficient at the areas where the Verkada technologies will be deployed.
Warranty

Tier4 provides no warranty except as is expressly provided herein. Except as set forth herein all work is “as is” and Tier4 DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY UNDER THE UCC INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR WARRANTY OF NONINFRINGEMENT.

Labor Warranty Access Control for Doors: 30 Days from the initial touching of that specific door for labor / locksmith services on the components that Tier4 has installed, removed and replaced on the door. Note that on some Door Access Projects that Tier4 WILL NOT touch every component on the door and those items not touched are not covered by this labor / locksmith warranty.

Product Warranty Access Control for Doors: Tier4 uses multiple different Manufacturers for Door Hardware and Tier4 will rely on the Manufactures warranty for each component. If a component fails in 30 days the labor / locksmith services to replace this product will be covered during this time period. Note replacement of a failed component does not reset the 30-day initial touching date.

Labor Network Cabling:12 months from the installation day for that specific component attached to that network run. This includes all labor, to remove and replace the existing cable, travel to and from the location.

Product Warranty Network Cabling:12 months from the installation day for that component attached to that network run. This includes all materials to replace the existing cable from beginning end point to end point.
